A lecture by Prof. Dr. Hanno Beck about the EURO and the Future of the European Union was as well a much followed attraction which completed the successful day.
Dirk Ramthun, CEO of ABAS Holding and one of the speakers at the opening speech, welcomed the guests and introduced the event. That the term "full speed ahead" is the right expression demonstrated Ursula Bracke and Michael Baier, both also in the management of the ABAS Holding, with their interesting opening lectures. ABAS Projektierung looks back at a successful year 2010 and with a superior economic growth in the last years. Further 58 new customers were gained and the sales increased to approximately 17 million euro. Also for 2011 is expected a further increase in profits to about 20 million euro. Followed by the opening lectures was the presentation by Jens Meermagen and Robert Mueller about the highlights of the current version of the abas Business Software. Specially appreciated by the customers were: the new free text editor, the possibility of illustrating the flexible surface, the chance to connect several EFOPS on different events, the integration of the portal into abas ERP such as CRM or BI and the included automated search engine optimization in the web shop. The customers took the possibility after the presentations to discuss about the seen and resolve their doubts.

Conclusion: Useful information in a pleasant atmosphere

Jochen Groer, IT specialist of HOFA GmbH, draws a positive balance of the customer day:

"It is particularly interesting for me the possibility to hide the FO-modeling masks. Every employee needs for his daily work an adapted dashboard. With the new feature I can easily filter information and make the reduction of the field processes in the company leaner more secure. The new surface of the abas Business Software offers me many opportunities to tailor the workplace for each employee. "

Like this each of the participants took a lot of useful information home and look back to an enjoyable day on the MS Karlsruhe.
